The Victoria Royals announced today the acquisition of 2003-born forward Dawson Pasternak from the Brandon Wheat Kings in exchange for a conditional draft pick.
Pasternak appeared in a total of 89 WHL games split between the Wheat Kings and Portland Winterhawks from 2021-2023 in which he recorded 20 goals and added 33 assists for 53 points.
Prior to his time in the WHL, Pasternak was a standout for the Chicago Steel (USHL) as he suited up in 86 games over the course of two seasons. He helped the Steel claim the 2020-21 USHL Championship.
The 5’9”, 152-pound forward was originally selected 85th overall in the 2018 WHL Prospects Draft by the Winterhawks.
