The Camosun Chargers invite one and all to celebrate the program’s 25th Anniversary at the Chargers’ final home games of the season as they take on Island rivals, the VIU Mariners on February 15 and 16 at the Pacific Institute for Sport Excellence.
Friday February 15 Basketball Women 6pm; Men 8pm
Saturday February 16 Volleyball Women 5pm; Men 7pm
While admission is FREE to everyone on both nights, fans are encouraged to arrive early as seating is limited. The first 100 fans on each night will receive a FREE Chargers cheer towel and Chargers Event Staff will be serving up cake along with 25th Anniversary t-shirt giveaways.
In addition to entertaining fans with two nights of exciting basketball and volleyball, the Chargers will be recognizing their fifth-year graduating players in between the women’s and men’s matches on both nights. Playing their final games on home court are Kathryn Candell (Women’s Basketball), Ashley McGinnis (Women’s Basketball), Dylan Marsden (Men’s Basketball), Mychaela Roelants (Women’s Volleyball) and Douglass Waterman (Men’s Volleyball).
To cap off the celebrations, the Camosun College Alumni Association will host a special reception for Chargers Alum on each game night located on the 3rd Floor of PISE. Alum wishing to attend may register via Eventbrite or contact [email protected]
