The Blues once again showed a very balanced offence with seven different players recording at least two kills each. Jake Hagen was solid with 12 kills while Markus Bratsberg and Justin Yee each tallied nine.
On the other side of the net the Bearcats were led by the 10 kills of Trevor Koch. Setter Graham Walkey recorded 30 assists and 10 digs.
Camosun Chargers 3 – 25-20, 25-17, 25-17
COTR Avalanche 0
It was a quick three-set sweep for the Chargers on Saturday night winning their fourth straight. The Brazilian connection of Eduardo Bida and Vitor Periera each had 13 kills. Morgan Humphreys added eight more kills and four digs.
The Avalanche were swept for the fifth straight match and have now dropped five in a row. Quinn Grist added nine kills to lead their offence.
Sunday afternoon at 1:00pm the Avalanche (8-15) will play in their final regular season match when they visit the Chargers (16-5). They will then be hosting the PACWEST championship tournament beginning Thursday February 21st. WATCH HERE
