The Shamrocks begin play in their 70th season Friday night as they host the Nanaimo Timbermen at 7:00 pm at the Q Centre.
The jersey launch is an exciting conclusion to what has been an eventful off-season for the Shamrocks. General Manager Chris Welch has added several key pieces to the roster as the club attempts to secure it’s 10th Mann Cup in franchise history. Newcomers including Cole Pickup, Liam Patten, Adrian Sorichetti, Graeme Hossack and returning veterans Matt Yager, Rhys Duch, Tyler Burton, Jesse King, and Casey Jackson promise to deliver a summer of excitement for the fans.
“The history of the Shamrocks is something we’re all incredibly proud of” said the Shamrocks Director of Corporate Partnerships David Michaud. “This new look is a bit of a vintage throwback that we were really excited to reintroduce to our fans. This summer is one to be excited about, but we also plan to pay homage to our history not only with these jersey’s, but the addition of Mann Cup Memories that will celebrate our 9 championships.”
