The West Kelowna Warriors continue their winning ways with their seventh straight win of the season after a 5-1 victory over the Vernon Vipers Saturday.
The Warriors would open the scoring in the first 42 seconds of the game with Tyler Cristall scoring his 11th of the season to make it 1-0 . Ten minutes later Riley Sharun would score his 1st of the season off a feed from Elan Bar Lev Wise giving the Warriors a 2-0 lead. The Vipers would score their first of the game with Reagan Millburn scoring on the powerplay to cut the Warriors lead in half heading into the second frame.
The second period started exactly like the first. Only 39 seconds into the second frame the Warriors would add another. A quick drive by Felix Trudeau allowed Damon Jugnauth to score his first of the season to make it 3-1 Warriors. Only 6 minutes later the younger cousin Tyson Jugnauth would fire a shot on the sharp angle and it would go off Damon Jugnauth and in to give Damon his 2nd of the season and 2nd of the game to make it 4-1 Warriors heading into the third period.
The Warriors would go on a powerplay late in the third with Felix Trudeau extending his goal scoring streak to six games scoring his 11th of the year to give the Warriors a 5-1 victory.
