Vancouver Island’s Orange Sox Boys Fastball Program building towards the BC Summer Games. The O’Sox team focus is building the game of fastball on Vancouver Island. The O’Sox  program would like to build three age groups. The O’Sox Fastball program focus is to increase awareness of fastball on the male side of the game on Vancouver Island. British Columbia and Vancouver Island has a rich heritage and linage of producing world class softball players that have represented local BC cities on the regional, provincial, national and international play.

  • U12 – Appear in the 2024 BC Summer Games
  • U16 – 2022 Summer Games appearance
  • U19 – Build for the 2023 Western Canadians and play in several tournaments in 2022.

Softball BC

The O’Sox team’s “NO CUT” policy for all players will allow focus on growth of participation in the game of fastball. The sport allows players to enjoy on a life long journey, friendships and memories. The O’Sox goal is to rebuild the boys side of fastball on Vancouver Island and give players a place to play. The team also would like to see first nations athletes join the program. Our club has three first nations coaches with national and international experience.

Practices will cover strenght & conditioning, basic throwing mechanics, hitting and over all information on the game of fastball. Players with no fastball experience are more than welcome, or any male youth wanting to play sports.

The O’Sox program will provide a team for the 2022 appearance at the BC Summer Games in Prince George BC. Any interested players or parents that have boys from ages 13 – 19 on Vancouver Island are invited to participate in the program. There is no cost to attending workout session.
