The stage has been set and the first round schedule and seeding has been finalized for the 2022 WLA Playoffs. With an incredible four-way tie for the first time in WLA history, it all came down to the numbers.
The Langley Thunder clinched the first overall seed as they had the best head-to-head record among the top four teams. They will be facing off against the fourth overall team, the Victoria Shamrocks. With the same 12-6 record, the Shamrocks will hold the fourth seed due to having the least amount of wins in a head-to-head with the other three teams.
The second overall seed is awarded to the Coquitlam Adanacs as they have the highest goal differential in games between the other teams. They will be taking on the Nanaimo Timbermen who finished third overall as a result of having the most wins against Victoria.
