Pacific football club lost 3-1 to FC Edmonton on Sunday afternoon at Westhills Stadium. The fans were excited to see their home team back on home turf after Pacific’s four-game road trip in which they picked up 1 win and 3 losses. The game started as Pacific wanted to take advantage of FC Edmonton who has been in a goal drought. Victor Blasco would be close to picking up the first goal of the game, as his shot got pass Connor James the Edmonton goaltender and hit the post. FC Edmonton went on to pressure Pacific in search for a goal, it wasn’t until 32′ minute that Tomi Ameobi would score for Edmonton ending their goal-drought.
Pacific will now be on a four-game home stretch which included this match, against Cavalry FC on July 1st, then again Cavalry FC on the 6th, and Forge FC on July 13th.
