The West Kelowna Warriors (13-28-5-2) head to Nanaimo to battle the Clippers (28-16-2-2) Wednesday night.

Warriors vs. Clippers 2019/20 Regular Season Schedule:

Saturday, November 30th @ Royal LePage Place (6:00 PM) LOSS 4-3 OT

Wednesday, January 29th @ Frank Crane Arena  (7:00 PM)

The Warriors are coming off a 5-4 shootout loss to the Victoria Grizzlies Tuesday night. The Warriors had a 4-3 lead with over a minute remaining in the game and allowed a late goal forcing the extra frame. In the shootout, Grizzlies goaltender Liam Souliere stopped all three shooters to give the Grizzlies a huge 2 points. It was a game the Warriors felt was their worst loss of the season even though they were still able to get a single point. The Grizzlies came out of the game with a five point lead in the standings were the Spruce Kings are now sitting at 3 points up on the Warriors.

Tonight the Warriors head to Frank Crane to take on the Nanaimo Clippers. The Clippers picked up an overtime win in West Kelowna back in November, but this time around the Clippers are without some key players. After a game that saw numerous ejections this past Sunday, the Clippers are without Tim Washe, Trevor LeDonne, Josh Kagan and former Warriors forward Brandon Dent. The Warriors need to capitalize on the shorthanded Clippers Wednesday night and will look for a better effort out of the gate compared to their start in Victoria Tuesday night.

This evening’s game will be broadcast on both HockeyTV and the Warriors Mixlr Network. Puck drop at 7:00pm from Frank Crane Arena in Nanaimo.
