Pacific FC and the Halifax Wanderers faced off at starlight stadium on Saturday afternoon. Halifax was able to pull off the shutout as they won 3-0. This was Pacific’s first home game after a tedious three-game road trip where they lost two and tied one. Halifax started the game by scoring quickly at the 24′ minute mark when Elhadji Mour Samb tucked it away. twelve minutes later Halfix scored again with Aidan Jun Valcarcel Daniels finishing the job at the 36′ minute of the half. The second would start with Pacific FC trying to claw their way back. Their own downfall would be when they tripped one of Halifax’s players in the penalty awarding the penalty shot to Halifax. With coolness and composure, Halifax’s Samuel Salter put it away sealing the nail in the coffin.
Pacific will play Calvary FC next Thursday at 6:30 at starlight stadium.
