The Canadian U-21 men’s volleyball team, featuring a member of the Thompson Rivers University WolfPack have clinched their division at the Pan American championships in Lima, Peru.

Canada, which has Vernon, BC native and WolfPack libero Landon Currie on its roster went through their group play unbeaten in three starts.

Meeting the host country on Tuesday night (May 7),  Canada won 3-1.  The scores were 25-7,26-28,25-12,25-12.

Canada out attacked Peru 46-30.

Currie  had 14 digs, 7 serve receptions and six passes.

Canada now has two days off and don’t play again until Friday when they will play in the semi finals against the winner of a game Wednesday (May 8)  between Chile and the United States.
