Another top 15 finish for Ryley McRae of the Thompson Rivers University WolfPack and Kamloops Classics swim teams at an international open water event in Spain.

McRae wound up 11th in the 1.5 Kilometer men’s open category at the Best Fest Open Water Swimming Festival.  His time was 17 minutes and 11 seconds.

On Monday (May 27),  McRae was seventh in the five kilometer men’s open division with a time of 67 minutes, 56 seconds.

He is a member of Canada’s junior men’s open water swim team.  This Spanish event is his second international open-water competition.
