The Titans earned a berth to the BC final with a convincing 32-0 win over the South Delta Rams in their semi-final game of the Vancouver Mainland Football League but looked unprepared for the aggressive play of the Wolverines, the defensive line getting to the Titans quarterback frequently throughout the game for losses that we at times too hard to recover from.

With that type of record, it would be easy for teenagers to be distracted by the record, however Head Coach Arun Dodd looked to have his players stay focused throughout the season on their way to their to their second consecutive BC title. “We really didn’t speak about the winning streak at all throughout the season, we just took it one game at a time. Each week was new week, a new game, and the focus was one game at a time. The overall goal was to “get better” and “win the BC’s “, and we always used the phrase “when we” instead of “if we”.

Most would acknowledge that that type of record doesn’t come without the commitment and talent both on the field, and on the sidelines. In conversation with Head Coach Dodd about his team, he would sing praise about his team’s successful formula. “This is a special group of players. They stayed ready for each game, no moment too big form them. We had multiple players step up each game to contribute to the win. It was amazing to watch and be a part of such a great team of individuals. We were definitely blessed with this group. We had so much talent and leadership at all positions. Our coaching staff did a unbelievable job to keep the team focused, and worked well amongst each other. They were always on the same page at practice and at game time.
