September 29, 2019 Victoria, BC (ISN) – The Victoria Spartans Football organization squared of against the Cowichan Bulldogs Saturday at Goudy Field in Vancouver Island Football Conference action, with the Spartans coming out on top, sweeping the two game series.
The PeeWee Spartans would hold on for a narrow 8-7 lead despite a late score by a resilient Bulldog squad to post a Spartan 2-1-1 season record. in the matinee game, the Cowichan Bulldogs couldn’t find the bite needed to pull out a win as the Junior Bantam Spartans would cruise to a 34-8 victory to improve their undefeated record to 4-0.
