On Sunday, April 12th many families will be needing to enjoy Easter a little different this year due to the COVID-19 Situation, however the Nanaimo Clippers want to make sure all families will still have smiles on their faces.
The Clippers Mascot C-Dog will be going around on April 12th delivering Easter Eggs to families that sign-up.
“This initiative is something we came up with because we know this Easter is going to be different for families but we want to make sure everyone can still enjoy it.” commented Tali Campbell, Nanaimo Clippers general manager. “Our fans bring smiles to our faces every game when they cheer loud, so this is a small gesture we can do to put smiles on their faces.”
Campbell noted that they will be following all Social Distance Measures by dropping the Easter Eggs outside and although C-Dog likes to high five fans that won’t be happening.
